Lancashire Market 2012
18th Aug 2012
The famous Lancashire Market began in August 2010, thanks to a strong partnership between it’s organisers, Preston’s Business Improvement District, and city centre companies eager to see an increase in footfall, and moreover, trade.
Since August 2010, the Lancashire Market has rolled into town six times and attracted a passing footfall of more than 200,000 people! That’s some Market…….
The next Market will take place on Saturday August 18th and will take place along the length of Friargate and Orchard Street, leading to Preston’s regular Market.
As always the Market will feature a premium offering off all things Lancashire from the very best producers in the red rose county. High end gifts and crafts will sit side by side with tasty treats offering patrons the chance to sample and purchase quality county produce. With more than seventy stalls to tempt you, a grand day out is sure to be had by all.
Market entertainment for all the family will be provided throughout the day, including live music, street theatre, free face-painting, free caricatures. Be sure to pay a visit to the picnic garden too, there’s every reason to stay a while!
Lancashire Market 2012 will be one of the main activities as part of the Love Food Love Preston campaign, taking place throughout August.
Love Food Love Preston is sponsored by Waitrose, Walton-le-Dale, Preston.
