Islay Manhattan cocktail

  • Laphroaig 10 years old 50ml
  • Sweet vermouth 25ml
  • Angostura bitters dash
  • Orange zest to garnish
  • Ice cubes


  1. Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes
  2. Add the Angostura bitters, Laphroaig and sweet vermouth
  3. Place a bar spoon down the inside of the glass and stir briskly for 25 seconds
  4. Place a julep strainer over the top and pour into a cocktail glass
  5. Garnish with an orange zest
