Loin of Tuna with a Guacamole Style Salad

  • 1 fresh tuna steak
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 1 chilli lime (to taste)


  1. Take the tuna steak and season on both sides with a little salt and pepper and a rub of olive oil
  2. Grill the fish on each side for 3 minutes
  3. Arrange the tomato in a circle on the plate with a little chilli on then place the red onion and avocado on top
  4. Finally add the tuna and finish with a squeeze of lime
