Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • Pickled onions
  • 2 types of cheese
  • 1 apple
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Pickle
  • Piccalilli
  • Side salad

Method

  1. Arrange the buttered bread on a large platter or plate
  2. Cut 4 ozs of cheese per person, for example 2 ozs of Cheddar and 2 ozs of Lancashire Crumbly and arrange on a plate
  3. Put the pickled onions and chutney or pickles on the side of the plate, along with a fresh tomato left whole and the spring onions
