Diageo has been looking at how personalisation of drinks can be used in clubs, pubs and bars to attract younger consumers. They’ve identified a growing interest in personalisation – with ideas like individual serving trays with components of a cocktail that can be self-assembled at the table. Especially useful to drive spirit sales, the idea taps into the trend for customers to photograph, tag and share their experiences on social media – great exposure for both the drink and venue!
