Sarah Ferguson has been making newspaper headlines after she was forced to make a grovelling apology to fellow diners at her favourite Italian restaurant, The Osteria dell’Arancio in the King’s Road, Chelsea, after a meal there to celebrate daughter Eugenie’s boyfriend’s birthday turned into a drunken night of high jinks. Her apology came after one of the rowdy group fell off their chair.
Would you have let the Duchess’ party party on given that she is a regular and therefore a high value customer, who in this case was picking up the tab for the table’s three course meal, red and white wine and Champagne or, would you have asked for a greater show of respect for other clientele?
